This petty has been forged from 26C3 clad in a random pattern Damascus made from 36 layers per side of soft steel (1008) and 15N20. It is stone set behind the edge and then blended to full convex. One side has more of a linear pattern, while the other side is more of a true random. Both sides were cut from the same 36 layer billet after forging it out, with the variation on each side due to the low count twist applied while forging. It has been heat treated to a core hardness of ~64HRC, has a full convex grind, and has been etched and polished to help remove stickiness from the etch.
