Removal of existing handle, remove neck of knife, straighten the rear heel of the knife from neck removal, clean up tang, re-round over/blend rear heel/choil - $40
Make and install new cocobolo handle with museum fit stainless spacer in a rokkaku profile - weighted with steel dowel hidden in the handle to bring balance point back (ended up being able to add ~68g to the base weight of the handle by doing this) -$165 (shipped and insured back)
