This knife has been forged from 26c3 and ground to a full convex profile. The knife was differentially heat treated via clay coating to create a nice visible hamon. The grind is stone ready, and then hand sanded to a high satin finish after which I applied some uchigumori mud to create a nice visible contrast between the soft steel and the hard steel.
