I forged this oversized rentetsu nakiri in a go-mai construction with an AU core, nickel diffusion barrier, and wrought iron that was sourced from a piece of old wagon wheel. It measures in at 200×71 and has lasery edge geometry while maintaining substance in the spine thickness. The 1/3 directly above the edge has been stone set and finished on a Shinden Suita, and an uchigumori mud was applied to the cladding to bring out the character of the wrought as well as to blend the hira and kireha.
